WRITING CONTEST
Two prizes of $1000 each and
publication in New South are given annually for a poem and a story or an
essay. All entries are considered for publication. Tom Hunley will judge in
poetry, and Joshua Harmon will judge in prose. Submit up to three (3) poems or
up to 9,000 words of prose with a $15.00 entry fee, which includes a copy of
the prize issue, by March 5. Send an SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope)

A prize
of $1000, publication by Omnidawn Publishing, and 100 author copies is
given for a poetry chapbook. Joseph Lease will judge. Submit a manuscript of 20
