Poem: Constant (By Charles Banks, Jr. Writing as Black Angel)

CONSTANT

The steady lectures
the constant badgering
the continual  bickering,
is it worth the fight
to continue on with the battle of love?

The perpetual arguments
the stagnant nature of our aftermath,
is it worth the fight
to continue on with our battle of love?

The uniform of her hair
swishing back and forth,
the nonstop pointing and blame,
is it worth the fight
to continue on with our battle of love?

The unwavering battle of love,
the monotonous river flowing down the way.
The incessant fussing and hollering,
is it worth the fight
to continue on with our battle of love?
